Student Spotlight - Alex!

Next month marks one year since Alex started training at the Pole Palace.

How old are you?
I'm 26

What do you do when you're off the pole?
When I’m not pole dancing I work part-time as a caregiver and I work towards my bachelors degree in nursing. Besides that, I love hanging out with my three kitties James, Lenny, and Lucy.

What brought you to The Pole Palace for the first time?
What brought me to the Pole Palace was it’s welcoming atmosphere and experienced pole teachers that crafted the classes to be fun and encouraging.

What is your favorite thing about the studio?
The other women who attend classes support one another whether one is a beginner or advanced. I have struggled with feeling insecure about how well I dance at other studios, but everyone seems to help each other out. I moved here recently, and the Pole Palace has been a good outlet for me.

What has pole dance given you?
Pole is a place for me to gain confidence, meet other supportive people, and release stress.

What advice would you give someone coming to the studio for the first time?
For someone who is thinking about taking a class at Pole Palace, I would say don’t feel intimidated about trying something new. The Pole Palace is a judgment free studio with teachers that take the time to organize the classes in a way that fits everyone.
